Tom came to the Truckee Meadows in 1967 as Superintendent of Parks for Washoe County. After 3 years with the County, 3 years travelling around the world, he started a landscape design/build business.

In 1993 he secured an SBA loan to purchase 1.18 acres of land on White Fir to build a place to live, work, and demonstrate his craft. Tom has successfully operated his Landscape Architect and contracting business for more than 20 years. At the present time a new residence and office is in the City of Reno permit stage after successfully applying for a special use permit.

Now Tom would like to direct his attention to developing the 3.44 acre site across the street in a simlar manner. A place to live, work, grow food, watch wildlife, and be close to the Truckee River.
