Traditions Dayton, Nevada Landmark Homes A master plan for a village of homes and community recreation areas in Dayton, Nevada.			Santini Garden Reno, Nevada Rancho San Rafael Park A master plan, installation of the garden and conception of interpretive signage were completed by Pinyon Design for Rancho San Rafael Park.
Labyrinth Garden Reno, Nevada Rancho San Rafael Park Retained by Rancho San Rafael to create an entrance sign to the the Labyrinth Garden at the Wilbur D. May Arboretum, within Rancho San Rafael Park. This garden was initiated by the Attorney General's Office, and is dedicated to victims of violent crime in our community and their loved ones.			Rainbow Ridge Reno, Nevada City of Reno Parks and Recreation Design and installation of interpretive wayside exhibits along the interpretive trail. Located along Rainbow Creek between Simons Drive and Mae Anne Avenue in North West Reno, just north of Rainbow Ridge Park. The Trail was installed and is maintained by City of Reno Parks and Recration. Interpretive Gardens created and installed four wayside exhibits relating to the year-round creeks including native plants, birds, geology, and mining, along with other themes.
Irwin Overlook Reno, Nevada Rancho San Rafael The Irwin Overlook is located inside the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. The theme of the interpretive exhibits are the surrounding mountain. Come take a walk through the arboretum to the Irwin overlook and learn about the Virginia Range, Slide Mountain/Mt. Rose, Carson Range and the Sierra Nevada, Crystal Peak, and Peavine Mountain.			Sky Country Park Reno, Nevada Centex Homes and City of Reno Design-build of this neighborhood park. The interpretation was limited to one sign that explains "A New Approach Where Tradition Meets Nature".
McQueen High School Bioregional Outdoor Classroom Reno, Nevada McQueen High School At McQueen High School we developed the master planed and helped build the garden with student participation. The entrance exhibit describes each bioregion and includes a site map.			Mayberry Park Reno, Nevada Property adjoining Washoe County Mayberry Park and Interpretive Gardens/Pinyon Design studio. A buffalo grass/blue grama grassy area with a small stage currently under construction. A wayside exhibit on the trail that follows the river from Mayberry Park.
Swan Lake Nature Study Area Lemmon Valley, Nevada Washoe County Parks, Lahontan Audubon Society, BLM Working with the above contracting agencies and the Nevada Division of Wildlife, Washoe County School District, Nevada Military and City of Reno, developed an interpretive master plan and management plan. Plan includes trails, outdoor classrooms, boardwalks, observation tower, entry interpretive exhibits and wayside exhibits.			Oxbow Nature Study Area Reno, Nevada City of Reno Department of Parks and Recreation Master plan, site plan, three phases of planning and construction documents and construction administration. Areas include inside orientation displays, interactive computer model as well as interpretive trails and nodes throughout the park and along the Truckee River.
Reno-Tahoe International Airport Reno, Nevada Airport Authority of Washoe County Landscape plans, details and construction documents for an eight-acre bioregional landscape; a collage of High Sierra, Great Basin and meadow landscapes. Promoted as a Xeriscape demonstration area.			National Automobile Museum Reno, Nevada William F. Harrah Foundation Site plan including outdoor seating area, rest areas, bike path and landscape plans.

National Basque Monument Reno, Nevada Basque Monument Committee Landscape architectural and interpretive design including seating, memorial wall, native plantings, interpretive trails and signs.			UNR North Campus Beautification Reno, Nevada University of Nevada, Reno This part of the campus serves as the location of the Medical School, public television station KNPB-TV, and the University's Service Center. The rest is a collection of parking lots. The Buildings and Grounds people at the University recognized that it was in need of beautification. We're pleased they called on Interpretive Gardens, Inc. to do the job.
Woodbridge Interpretive Wayside Exhibits Davis, California Davis Parks Department Coordinated with partners, landscape architect, City Parks Department, to plan, design, and fabricate wayside exhibits and picnic shelter exhibit signs.			Washoe Conservation Trail Washoe County, Nevada Washoe-Storey Conservation District Interpretive programming, design layout and fabrication of hand-painted fiberglass embedded interpretive signs.
Northridge Demonstration Garden Sacramento, California Northridge Water District Worked on wayside exhibit signs, a self-guided brochure with tour stops signs and entrance kiosk signs for a water efficient demonstration garden developed by the Northridge Water District.			Sierra Xeriscape Demonstration Garden Reno, Nevada Sierra Pacific Power Company Site planning, coordinating community involvement, developing a brochure and interpretive plans.
Hunter Creek Demonstration Garden Washoe County, Nevada Sierra Pacific Power Company Full-service planning, design and construction of small demonstration garden showing how drip irrigation and water conserving plants could save water. Interpretive signing included.			Lake Tahoe Demonstration Garden South Lake Tahoe, California Lake Tahoe Community College South Tahoe Public Utility District Coordinated multi-agency involvement in developing content for interpretive signs. Planned, designed and fabricated interpretive exhibits for the Visitor Center and a system of wayside exhibits for the garden which focus on erosion control and water conservation for the preservation of Lake Tahoe water quality.

Wilbur D. May Arboretum, Master Plan Reno, Nevada Washoe County Parks and Recreation Department Arboretum master plan, full service design and construction services for Phase 1, the demonstration portion of the Arboretum.			Huffaker Lookout Reno, Nevada City of Reno Department of Parks and Recreation Master Plan, full-service design and construction documents for interpretive lookout, orientation signs and fiberglass embedded sign system along pathways for this high desert preserve.
University Ridge Demonstration Garden Reno, Nevada Hutton Associates An entrance garden, roadside landscape and demonstration garden was developed to illustrate how drought-tolerant plants could be used for large housing developments.			Highway Xeriscape Demonstration Reno, Nevada Nevada Department of Transportation Full design and construction administration services for a three-acre demonstration project where Mill Street enters the U.S. 395 freeway.
Truckee Meadows Community College Master Plan Washoe County, Nevada University of Nevada In association with an architectural consultant, developed the site plan for a major campus expansion to be developed over a two-year period.			Angela Dandini Garden & Amphitheater Reno, Nevada Desert Research Institute & Truckee Meadows Community College A cooperative site planning project for development of land between the two institutions. Project included locating a native garden, interpreting the surrounding landscape and siting an amphitheater with breathtaking views into the Truckee Meadows.
North Star Bird Sanctuary Davis, California Tandem, Inc. Feasibility analysis and preliminary design for interpretive trails and lookouts.			Kershaw-Ryan State Park Caliente, Nevada Nevada Division of Parks Update master plan, interpretive trail plan and do site planning.
WEL Garden Roseville, California San Juan Suburban Water District Prepared the interpretive elements of a master plan for the WEL (Water-Efficient Landscape) Garden. Worked in association with the Community Assistance Program of the Central Valley Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Visitor pathways to individual theme gardens were restricted to one way in/out to better coordinate wayside exhibits and maps with garden features. The interpretive report includes a summary of potential interpretive methods that are all self-guided.			Truckee River Aquarium Garden Reno, Nevada Reno Redevelopment Agency A downtown Reno environmental attraction. Feasibility study, preliminary environmental assessment, master plan, schematic plans, interpretive story-line and exhibit programming.
Te-Mata Park Master Plan Havelock North New Zealand Te-Mata Trust Board A plan to guide the long-term development of a 100 hectare regional park. Elements included site analysis, future development financing options, management recommendations and design concepts.			Massey University Courtyard Design Palmerston North New Zealand Massey University Agricultural/Horticultural Building courtyard design and construction documents including irrigation and drainage demonstration.
Tom Sawyer Village-Lawn Replacement Project Reno, Nevada Tom Sawyer Village is a complex of homes for seniors. Our objective here was to eliminate a high-maintenance, thirsty lawn and replace it with a setting that would provide beauty and utility at low cost. The result is a combination of shrubs, decorative grasses, and flowers, designed around benches and pathways that provide an outdoor living environment for the residents.
